About PlayMaksi

The problem we saw

Scratch by MIT is the most popular coding platform for kids. Millions of children worldwide create games and animations in it. But Scratch projects only run in a desktop browser — there was no way to play them natively on a phone.

Kids wanted to show their creations to friends at school, on the bus, at home — anywhere with a phone. Parents wanted to see what their children built. But every time, the answer was: "You need a computer for that."

What we built

PlayMaksi is a mobile platform where kids publish their Scratch games and the whole world can play them from a phone. Upload a .sb3 file, add a title and a cover image — and your game is live. Other players browse a feed, discover new games, and leave likes.

Under the hood, we use TurboWarp technology to convert Scratch projects into optimized mobile experiences. Games run in a fullscreen landscape player, smooth and fast, served through our CDN.

What we believe in

We promote creativity, not identity. PlayMaksi shows nicknames only — no real names, no personal details shared publicly. The platform highlights the game, not the person behind it.

Seven languages from day one, cross-platform iOS + Android, content moderation, and a privacy-first approach. We want every young creator to feel safe sharing their work with the world.
